At the age of 13, Rachel and her best friend Alex Bourne were teenage lovers. They met at school in Southgate, North London but at the end of high school they broke up and partied ways, Alex went on to try out acting and Rachel took the singing root and found fame with S Sclub 7. In 2005 Rachel released her 2nd debut album 'Come and Get It' but failed to have an impact in the charts by making it to 28 in the UK.

Rachel flew out to LA in 2006 to try her luck in a new career in acting, we saw her going to LA and then back to London sevral times. Rachel met a few people out there and rumours flew that Rachel was hoping to find her acting career by getting into a few films in LA. Sadley no luck happend, Rachel signed up to a popular acting agent 'Finch and Partners' while searching for roles. However in June 2007, Rachel found her teenage lover 'Alex Bourne. The first picture of them in public was in June 2007 in LA.

In July 2008 during their summer holiday break in Italy, Alex poped the question to Rachel and poposed. Rachel said yes. They were due to marry in Autum 2008 but Rachel made her UK return by signing up to 'Stricty Come Dancing', Rachel wanted to re-launch her career. On the 2nd of August 2009 Rachel married Alex Bourne. Rachel has said she will use Stevens as her stage name. Rachel & Alex are very happilly married together.
